Dianna is a longstanding equality advocate, and she has been very vocal about her support for animal welfare, refugees and LGBT rights. Here we’ll regularly put spotlight on one or more of the projects she has participated in, and the causes she supports.

UNHCR, or the UN Refugee Agency, is a United Nations programme with the mandate to protect refugees, forcibly displaced communities and stateless people, and assist in their voluntary repatriation, local integration or resettlement to a third country.

The 2010 Breakthrough of the Year Awards were held on August 15 at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, and presented by Crest 3D White. The categories at the awards range from Breakthrough Standout Performance in Film and TV to Breakthrough Newcomer and Internet Sensation, and Dianna picked up the award “Breakthrough Newcomer“!. She wore a stunning Carolina Herrera Resort 2011 strapless dress in ivory, saffron, sorbet and mint print for the occasion, accessorized with Neil Lane jewels and Manolo Blahnik heels. Dianna attended the event with Glee co-creator Brad Falchuk, and spent time backstage with her friend and OP Campaign co-star Jessica Szohr.
